History  of  Lakyle  National  School

A Centenary Celebration

The occasion of the centenary of a school is a time for reflection on the past and for recalling to mind the names and lives of the many people who as pupils, teachers or managers, will forever be associated with the school.

A new book on the history of the school is now published. It gives details of all the pupils and teachers who were associated with the schools over the past 167 years.

Clonrush parish was at one time part of Co. Galway and is now in Co. Clare.
